App Design

About Me

I am a 26 year old first year UWE Digital Media student,
I hope to be a web developer/designer in the future. My interests include coding, designing, DJ'ing, socialising and watching films.

Here we were introduced to a powerful online app-building tool called 'App Furnace'. I noticed it is similar to HotGlue in the way you can create an app with very minimal to no coding (unless you want to of course!). I found it very easy to use, below are some screenshots of my design process. I wanted to create an app for club nights, where the promoter could add details of the night (for example, set times) and the user could go to this app to find out when their favourite DJ would be playing. I used a white background so it would be easily visible to the user, and kept the design simple as to not overwhelm the user with too much information for what is essentially a straight forward app. Below are images showing my design process and problems I ran in to.
